Every day a lot of energy is wasted lights are left on in
houses and the heat or A.C. is up really high this is really bad for the
environment and needs to stop. It takes 16 times more energy to make an aluminum
can to recycle it. Lights use about 20% of all the energy in the U.S. Each
person in the U.S. uses about 2500 gallons of oil. To provide enough energy for
1 house in Mexico takes about 66 pounds of coal. The junk mail an American
receives each day could provide enough energy to power 250000 houses. Ask your
self is this really necessary we don’t have ever lasting energy and we’re
wasting it is that what you want to happen.
You
don’t totally have to stop using energy but here are some reasons to cut down
on your usage. Recycling one aluminum can can save enough energy to power a
computer for 3 days. Turning of the lights in 1 room can save 2 pounds of
pollutants. Energy efficiency can also save jobs in 2010 it saved 830000 jobs
nationwide. With energy efficient light bulbs you can save 30-80% on energy

earth for millions of years. You may have a habit of using energy and it may be
hard to get out of it but you can at least make a little difference.
